Concert Band Attire (includes Chamber Brass, Woodwind Ensemble, Jazz Band)
Girls
     Dress: Black with a sleeve (must have at least a cap sleeve), mid calf or longer, and have a modest neck line and a full back.  
    Pantihose: (optional) If worn, they need to be "nude" color.
    Shoes: Black more formal shoes (absolutely no flip-flops or extremely high healed shoes)
Boys
    Shirt: Tuxedo shirt - May be ordered through the Music Department in September.  If you need to be measured for a shirt, please let Mr. Pufahl know.
   Pants: Tuxedo pants (provided by MPO)
    Tie: Black Tuxedo Tie (provided by MPO)
    Jacket: Black Tuxedo (provided by MPO)
    Shoes: Black dress shoes
    Socks: Black dress socks

Marching Band Attire
ALL: Black dress or dress casual pants (no jeans or windpants)
ALL: Black socks and shoes
ALL: White t-shirt to go under band jacket

NEW THIS YEAR - Joint Concert and Clinician Work with Kettle Moraine Lutheran High School
The Music Department of Kettle Moraine Lutheran High School will join SCLHS' Concert Band and Choir on February 20-22, 2009. The concert will be held on Sunday, February 22, 2009, at St. Croix Lutheran High School. 

NEW THIS YEAR - Chamber Brass Christmas Recital - December 11, 2008 at 6:30 PM
The SCLHS Chamber Brass will present its first Christmas recital entitled A Chamber Brass Christmas.  All are encouraged to attend.  The recital will be held in the Chapel at St. Croix.

NEW THIS YEAR - Senior Recitals
Senior music students are encouraged to work with Mr. Pufahl to design a senior recital that showcases a particular student's skills and musical knowledge.  Senior recitals may be vocal or instrumental (piano too). Please contact Mr. Pufahl to schedule your senior recital.

Fall Concert- October 5

The Crusader Chorus (9th graders), Crusader Choir, and Crusader Band will perform their first concert for 2008-09 on Sunday, October 5, beginning at 7 pm in the SCLHS gym.  Concert dress code is expected for students in this event.

The concert is free and open to the public.

Prior to the concert, beginning at 4:30 pm, the Music Parents Organization (MPO) will serve its traditional Chili & Pie Supper for a freewill donation.  MPO members will receive information about this event at the first meeting on Wednesday, September 10, at 6 pm in the Music room.  All families are expected to participate by providing a pie and helping to set up, cook, serve and clean up.
